A quality full paint job on a mid-size vehicle starts at $3,000 and can easily exceed $10,000 for luxury cars. A single panel respray can run $500–$1,500. Rock chips on a hood? Depending on severity, you're looking at $300–$800 just to blend. PPF starts looking like a bargain pretty quickly.
